Pre-Departure orientation

On Thursday, September 30th, 2010 – Orientation session for the fellows which will be traveling to Washington, DC, USA.

Forum Preparation

On Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th September, 2010 Hope Fellowships program in Kosovo conducts a Forum Preparation for the Hope fellows from Educational field. The Forum Preparation includes sector specific information and prepares fellows for the presentations to be given while in Washington, DC.

Workshop: Quality in Education

On Tuesday, September 21st, 2010 Hope Fellowships conducted one day workshop on Quality in Education with Education group Fellows, facilitated by Ms. Bardha Qirezi. Topics to be discussed are: Why focus on quality? Quality for whom and what? Rights, equity and relevant; A framework for understanding, monitoring and improving education quality? Challenges?

Training: The role of education system in economic development

One day training held on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 with the education group fellows was on the role of education system in economic development facilitated by economic and educational expert Milva Ekonomi.

Seminar on Reforms in Education System in Kosovo

On Tuesday, September 7th 2010, Hope Fellowship in Prishtina conducted a one day seminar with Education Group fellows on reforms in education system in Kosovo. The seminar was facilitated by an educational expert Dukagjin Pupovci.

Hope Fellowship Washington, DC

Hope Fellowship in Washington, DC currently is setting the agenda for Education Group Fellows – Fall 2010 arriving in DC October 8th, 2010. Agenda consists of exploring possibilities for professional Development Sites where fellows conduct their fellowship, arranging trainings, meeting, presentations and so on.

Project Development and Management in-country training with education group fellows

Project Development and Management course was held on July 29 and 30th, 2010 and it was facilitated by Alban Hashani. Fellows learned key concepts and importance of project management main stages of project development and received basic information on what the project management is.

Introduction to leadership in-country training with education group fellows

Introduction to leadership-leading to choices held on July 22 & 23, 2010 was facilitated by Shaun Hughes.  The course was highly evaluated.

Hope Fellowship Kosovo office during April-July 2010 successfully accomplished Pre-Departure Orientation for Rule of Law Hope Fellows, Education Group Recruitment Process, Minority Board Strategic Planning, Education Group Recruitment Media Outreach, Minority Board Meetings to Discuss Potential Candidates, Application Collection Process, Interview Process, Selection Process of Education Group Fall 2010 and Follow Up on Rule of Law Alumni Class Projects.
