During the time in Washington, DC, fellows will be engaged in a combination of activities such as classroom-based skills trainings and project development, active research in a research site and consultations with professionals working on issues of particular interest to participants, attend forums, participate in a congressional shadow day, and publicly present their project. These activities include meetings with relevant organizations, institutions, and companies related to fellow’s area of professional research, meetings with policymakers to discuss issues about Kosovo, public speaking engagements to inform the DC policy community about challenges and success in Kosovo, and cultural activities.
